




Krungthai Bank emerges as the top-performing institution at the TAB Global Thailand Awards 2025, which recognise financial institutions for measurable achievements in transaction banking, digital innovation and inclusive finance.
Bangkok, 24 July 2025, Krungthai Bank receives the Best Transaction Bank in Thailand award at TAB Global Thailand Awards 2025, for delivering enterprise-grade digital solutions and strengthening infrastructure across the financial ecosystem. Several other leading financial institutions also receive awards for excellence in product innovation, digital transformation and customer experience initiatives.
Krungthai Bank has advanced its digital corporate offering through the Krungthai BUSINESS platform, which now includes a multiple-entity financial management module, enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and application programming interface (API)-enabled e-tax services. The bank also launched Smart Trade, a digital solution for cross-border transactions, and supported SME financing through supply chain-based, collateral-free lending. These initiatives reflect a systemic approach to modernising transaction banking and improving financial access, automation and compliance for enterprise clients.
Kasikornbank is recognised for aligning sustainability goals with financial product design. Its housing finance platform integrated environmental, social and governance (ESG)-linked loans and expanded distribution via K+ and LINE BK, contributing to a 10% year-on-year increase in its THB 590 billion ($16 million) portfolio. Meanwhile, Kasikorn Leasing receives an award for its digital auto loan service, which employs artificial intelligence (AI) tools for early delinquency detection and efficient underwriting. The unit increased its market share to 11.6%, underlining strong execution in high-volume retail lending.
UOB Thailand receives dual awards for its “Customer DNA” machine learning model that enabled precision targeting which drove a 41% rise in current and savings account (CASA) acquisition, along with a threefold increase in digital activation. Simultaneously, the bank transformed 82% of its branches into advisory-led centres, reinforcing its wealth management strategy and improving sales productivity.
Ngern Tid Lor receives three awards for initiatives targeting underserved and underbanked communities. Its mobile assistant “heygoody” consolidates payment tracking, budgeting and credit tools, serves over 1.6 million users, and is recognised for Best Customer Experience Initiative. It wins Best Digital Brand Campaign for “Stress-Free Symphony,” which promoted financial wellness through relatable storytelling and achieved over 42 million impressions. Its E-Withdrawal tool, enabling mobile disbursement in rural areas, earns Best Financial Inclusion Initiative for reducing operational costs and dependency on branch infrastructure.
Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) is awarded Best Customer Loyalty and Rewards Programme for its fully digital Krungsri GIFT platform. Embedded within the mobile app, the programme uses gamification and real-time incentives to promote engagement and product usage. With 4.8 million active users—more than half interacting with the rewards feature—the platform aligns everyday transactions with behavioural nudges to strengthen customer retention.
AutoX and CardX, both developed in collaboration with Silverlake, receive awards for their contributions to financial technology and operational efficiency. AutoX, with additional support from Accenture, wins Best Consumer Lending Technology Initiative by applying AI to automate credit scoring and reduce loan processing time by 30%. The platform also partnered with car dealerships to extend market reach. CardX, in partnership with AWS, is recognised as Best Cloud-Based Technology Initiative for its payment platform, which uses AI and real-time data for fraud detection and supports seamless integration with partner systems. The solution achieved a 25% increase in transaction volumes, underlining its scalability and robustness.
